Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) is considered the quintessential composer of the Baroque era, and one of the most important composers of classical music in general. His music lives on today thanks to his amazing catalog of choral, concertos, organ and keyboard works. Come and explore through recordings and videos, the legacy and life of this great composer.
Glazer studied the cello and viola de gamba at New England Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory of The Netherlands. She has taught island musicians cello, ukulele, piano and string ensemble as well as served as artistic director at the Nantucket Community Music Center. As a composer, Mollie has written scores for the musicals “Far Away Land” and “Hat’s Off!” as well as for dance works and the Emmy Award-winning PBS film ‘If These Walls Could Talk.”
